Marissa Bailey grew up outside of Washington D.C. and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from Valparaiso University in Indiana in 2003. She spent a year working as a physical therapy aide in an orthopedic practice in Maryland before going on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. Marissa is certified a board certified physician assistant. For the past 16 years Marissa has been devoted to caring for children of all ages as a Physician Assistant in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Cheyenne Children’s Clinic. She recently moved to the area with her husband. Marissa finds so much joy in supporting the health of children, adolescents and their families as they grow and change. In her time outside of work, Marissa loves cooking, camping, visiting National Park sites with her husband, and traveling to explore destinations nearby and more far-reaching adventures as well.
