Katarina Richardson grew up in rural Eastern New Mexico. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Biology with a pre-medicine emphasis in 2012.
Before attending PA school, she had the opportunity to serve people globally from all walks of life in health care settings through medical missions, home health care, and inpatient care. She attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and received training across West Texas. Upon graduating with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in August of 2020, she became board certified by the NCCPA. Katarina and her husband feel privileged to join the Colorado Springs community alongside friends and family and practice with the excellent team at Matthews-Vu Medical Group.
Katarina is committed to compassionate patient care by being an advocate for her patients from all walks of life and practicing preventative medicine. Beyond medicine, Katarina and her husband enjoy spending time with loved ones including their church family, skiing/sports, travel, and unique board games.
