Meet Jill Saylor, NP
Jill received her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Practitioner from Indiana State University. Jill is board-certified and has over 25 years of experience as a healthcare professional. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including inpatient, primary care and home care. Most recently, Jill worked in a neurosurgery role, expanding her diagnostic skills in acute and chronic spinal and neurosurgical care.
Jill’s role as a healthcare professional is that of coach. She states that, “Many of us have the knowledge of what is right, but lack the certainty or plan of how to incorporate better, healthful habits into our lives. Coaching and encouraging selection of positive health habits results in better overall outcomes. Developing a workable plan for the scenario and supporting the health teaching to allow the patient or family to feel confident in the next steps the next time the problem surfaces.”
In her time outside of patient care, Jill enjoys skiing and hiking with her husband and sons. To her family’s chagrin, she enjoys remodeling their mountain home.
