Amy Dowling is a certified family nurse practitioner. She grew up in rural south Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2007. After relocating to Colorado Springs she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University in 2013 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in 2019. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Samford University.
Before attending NP school, Amy spent 6 years serving the community of Colorado Springs as a public health nurse. She has specialized training in both diabetes and asthma and allergy care. Amy feels privileged to continue to serve the Colorado Springs community and practice with the excellent team at Matthews-Vu Medical Group.
Amy is committed to compassionate and holistic patient care. She is devoted to being an advocate for her patients and values patient communication and education. Beyond medicine, Amy enjoys playing soccer, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and her corgi.
